Off Season Training - A Night inside.

Just wanted to give you guys some insight on how I train during the off season. Last night was break out shooting, starts, and snap shooting. I always train with full gear, even putting paint in my hopper.

I usually use a 5-10lbs. weight in my off hand, this trains the arm muscles and your core during the quick break out movements. It is always nice to see your speed increasing as a result of training with weights.

I begin with a starting drill, simply put, my wife just counts down like the normal paintball starts, I break out and shoot a lane, I usually spend more time with my left hand shooting during workouts. I do around 10-15 starts on each side. (Thanks Ang) (Pic 2)

Then I do a painful drill, when I am bunkers I usually like to stay on my feet, this means a lot of squatting and crouching, so get in crouching position and start taking snap shots above my recliner and around it, this one is a great work out for the core and quads! (Pic 1) I do about 20 above and 20 to the sides.

I then do my door snap shooting drill with a mirror. I usually do about 20-30 on each side.

In all the work outs I use a weight or 2 and I would highly recommend it for anyone doing serious training.

Wow dude, now that is dedication! The only thing that would be even more impressive. If you practiced all your moves outside in the cold!
